Zero Hunger

As part of the $5 million donation (on July 1, 2020) to food banks in New Jersey, Louisiana & Texas by the new Mighty Foundation, executives from our New Jersey location visited the Community Food Bank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) facility in Hillside.

During the visit, CFBNJ representatives showcased the impressive 24/7 operation they have in place to provide over 50 million nutritious meals to New Jersey residents each year. From acquiring food from suppliers and donors, through sorting, packaging, loading and shipment, the CFBNJ is definitely a well-oiled machine. In addition, their Food Service Training Academy teaches marketable culinary and food industry skills to hundreds of students each year.
