Livingston, NJ Our corporate headquarters is located in Livingston, New Jersey, where over 330 full-time employees provide the majority of our business support operations. These include business management, marketing and sales, legal, logistics, technology development, accounting, human resources, information technology, environment, safety and corporate communications. The site is located in north-central New Jersey, next to a large wetlands area that provides a flood surge zone for the Passaic River. Employees and visitors take a tranquil lunchtime walk along the perimeter loop road while enjoying the area’s diverse terrain, seasonal wildlife and soothing sounds of nature. Point Comfort, TX Our Point Comfort site consists of twenty production units, five business divisions and a variety of support facilities at its nearly 2,500-acre petrochemical complex. The site’s initial Vinyl Chloride Monomer/Polyvinyl Chloride (VCM/PVC) plant went online in 1983. An additional investment of $1.7 billion in 1994 added several more operating units — Olefins, Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Polypropylene (PP), Chlor-alkali (CA), Ethylene Dichloride (ED), Ethylene Glycol (EG), power co-generation (steam and electricity) and a new wastewater treatment facility. In 2002, another $1.6 billion investment added research and development, lines and additional units which increased capacity by 60 percent. With our recent $5 billion dollar expansion in Point Comfort, TX completed, the company has added Olefins, HDPE, LDPE, PE, EG units and utilities. Formosa has a long history of economic growth in the communities where we operate, and we fully expect that trend to continue. Providing good-paying jobs, career advancement and generous benefits is part of our corporate culture. For more information on Formosa’s Point Comfort, TX facility, please visit www.fpctx.com. Baton Rouge, LA Our Baton Rouge site is ideally accessible to all major modes of transportation. Located in Baton Rouge near an interstate highway and major railroad, it operates one of the northern-most docking facilities on the Mississippi, allowing our products to be exported worldwide. The site produces its own feedstock materials, electricity and steam. PVC production has been expanded twice, increasing production significantly with very little capital investment. The site’s VCM unit is also being expanded and upgraded to meet the increasing demand for the company’s products and their related intermediate raw materials. Lolita, TX Lolita Packaging (LLPC) uses an automated storage and retrieval system containing over 40,000 individual cells designed to facilitate efficient packaging and shipping logistics. LLPC has the capability to handle ~38,000 short tons of Formosa polyolefin products each month in package sizes ranging from 25 kg bags to 1-ton intermediate bulk containers and even 40 foot bulk shipping units.
