(FPC USA) is pleased to announce that its Baton Rouge, Louisiana facility has advanced from Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS) Blue Registration to OCS Blue Verification, demonstrating the site’s strengthened commitment to preventing the loss of plastic materials into the environment. Operation Clean Sweep® is an international stewardship program dedicated to helping plastics manufacturers, transporters, and handlers eliminate pellet, flake, and powder loss throughout every stage of handling and transport. Verification status requires independent review confirming that procedures, accountability systems, and continuous improvement practices are actively implemented.
Enhanced environmental controls

To achieve the verification level, the Baton Rouge facility implemented a series of documented measures including: • Pellet containment and housekeeping protocols • Regular employee training and awareness activities • Internal audits and site inspections • Annual performance reporting and review These steps ensure that prevention practices are consistently embedded into day-to-day operations and evaluated for ongoing improvement.

With this achievement, the Baton Rouge facility now joins our Point Comfort, Texas facility in reaching the OCS Blue Verification level, meaning both of our U.S. manufacturing sites are now verified to the highest Operation Clean Sweep® standard.
