Employees and Contractors Helped Raise $50,000 More Than the Previous Year
POINT COMFORT, TX (JAN. 28, 2026) – Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas and its employees and contractors raised a total of $670,000 for its 2026 campaign, which goes towards the United Way of Calhoun County, the United Way of the Crossroads, the United Way of Jackson County, Inc. and the United Way of Matagorda County.
The company’s United Way Charity Golf Tournament, which took place in October 2025, raised $570,000. Many contract companies supported the event by sponsoring teams and booths. Employees contributed to the campaign by participating in payroll deductions and/or an administration building parking lot auction for premier parking places, which brought in $87,000. Formosa Plastics also contributed to the campaign by matching employee donations with a 15 percent match of $13,050.
