Formosa combined the advantages of new catalyst and process technologies with the commercial experience of our licensor to create a family of TPOs with rubber contents of 25 to 45 percent and excellent impact strength -- even at temperatures as low as 30°C. These materials can be used as a base for filled and reinforced compounds, replacing more expensive engineering thermoplastics in automotive and appliance applications. They are also well suited for exterior packaging, consumer, and industrial applications.
