Our Delaware City site is a leading producer of high quality Specialty (Dispersion) PVC resins. Homopolymer, copolymer, micro-dispersion and blending resins are manufactured with feedstock materials shipped from our Louisiana facility.

The site is committed to delivering more value to our customers through a lean cost structure, innovative technology, energy conservation, new product development, progressive management and public policy leadership. In 1999, with no increase in air emissions, the facility realized a 9 percent gain in production while reducing wastewater effluent by 10 percent and reducing injuries by 20 percent.

In The Community

Each year, the facility conducts Citizens Advisory Council meetings and discusses environmental, health and safety programs with the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC), as well as other regulatory officials, local government, environmentalists and community representatives.

The facility and its employees contribute time and resources to local education and community events including: American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Red Cross, Delaware Association of Police, Delaware City "Canal Fest" (environmental celebration), Delaware City Days (civic awareness celebration), Delaware City Fire Company, Delaware City Lions Club, "Main Street" Delaware City (civic improvement) and Delaware City Jaycees.

Employees of the facility are also involved in public policy leadership through organizations such as: Better Business Bureau, Delaware City Community Awareness and Emergency Response (DC-CAER), Delaware Nature Society, Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Environmental Committee and the Governor's Advisory Panel for Environmental Performance.
